Horse Showing

All our riders are invited to compete in spring, fall and winter shows from the schooling level to the “AA” Circuit. Horse shows are a great opportunity for riders to showcase their improvement, dedication and hard work. The shows place an emphasis on rider’s having fun and competing to the best of their ability. Families, relatives and friends are encouraged to attend all shows!!

"Tell me it can't be done, and I will do it. Tell me the goal is too high, and I will reach it. Place an obstacle in front of me and i will leap over it. Challenge me, Dare me, or even defy me, but never underestimate me, for on the back of my horse anything is possible." -AQHA

Camps

The central activity at Autumn Riders summer camp is English horseback riding. Our idea of teaching  horsemanship attempts to avoid the limitations of a horse farm operation. Each child is given his or her own horse and riding gear for the entire camp experience. We assign horses according to riding backgrounds to ensure that each person has a challenging yet safe riding experience. Generally, almost half of the new horsemen are novice or beginner riders.

After an introduction to the requirements of horse care, each child becomes responsible for grooming and saddling his or her horse for there lessons. At the end of the camp week a horse show is put together were all riders will compete for ribbions and prizes.

Not only do we work with the horses all day during our lunch hour arts and crafts will take place for each child to bring home suveneers from camp week!
